Lynx Networks installs IT infrastructure including data cabling. I have produced a flowchart that enables the user to determine what type of data cable he should use for any particular project. The user would access the flowchart via our website but would not see the actual underlying flowchart. He would be presented with a series of screens, embedded in a webpage, asking questions, giving advice and routing him to a different embedded page depending on his answer to a question in the flowchart. I have an inventory excel file. In cell F2, I have a button that I would like to perform the following action when clicked: For the fields labeled QUANTITY and ORDER, subtract ORDER[cell] from QUANTITY[cell] and return result in QUANTITY[cell]. After which, script should clear/reset all values from ORDER field. This is essentially taking a customer's quantity requests, subtracting it from the total inventory on hand so that the new quantity totals are properly reflected when the order is executed. There should be a command prompt informing the user "Are you sure you want to execute the pick list?", and the QUANTITY fields should be locked and only editable by executing the script.
Please review the requirements before bidding! I need vbscript (client-side in button script) to refresh a control on an ASP (classic asp) page like right-clicking it and then refreshing. The bottom control in the picture is hidden by vbscript after it is created, and then shown with a button (navbuttons2 subroutine) but the footer does not appear. If I right-click the bottom control and refresh it the footer shows up. The view source of the outer page (sysTableEdit[1]) and the control (sysTableListFra[1]) are attached.
