Hello I`d need your help to change a custom script on OPENWRT. Task1: There is a custom GUI and a script. The custom GUI seems to have an issue with the script. We are using a custom OpenWRT GUI to manage some network settings. We need to change some routing in the back end. the router has 7 internet connections. Script pings internet on connection 1 and if no answer, it failover to connection 2 Script pings internet on connection 2, if no answer, it goes to connection 3, and so on for connection 4-5-6-7. If connection 1 becomes available again, internet is sent back via the Previous Active connection. Traffic is then NAT`d and sent to and from the regular LAN 1. I need a way of creating a log file (ideally in JSON or XML) to log connections to the WAP. Log file needs to include date, time and MAC address of connection.

I need an openwrt image for my routers this firmware most work with own persistent MAC Address via VPN connection. I have been able to have a vpn connection with router MAC address but when the firmware configurations are uploaded to a different router it does not like the new routers MAC Address so it reports to the vpn server a ramdom MAC Address, when the router connects to the vpn server it needs to always report its own MAC address all the time to be able to assign a static IP. This image is going to be uploaded to other similar routers, Firmware most detect host router MAC address or be able to change MAC to reflect device MAC, and consistently report Same MAC to Server.
