Convert cursor to set based update

I have some reliable cursor based stored procedures.? I would like to rewrite a portion of the cursor as a series of updates.? ## Deliverables I will supply sample input data (as an MSSQL 2008 database); I will supply the section of the stored proc I'd like converted to set based code.? Nearly all of processing is table updates consisting of multiplcation or other math on a single table.
