We currently use the open-source FCK Editor () as our in-browser rich text editor for embedding in apps that we develop. These are webapps available in any web browser. The problem is that FCK Editor has a bug () that prevents it's functioning in Safari on the Apple Mac platform. We would like to comission the right developer to supply a patch that will allow for us to enable Mac Safari support while also allowing for future FCK Editor upgrades. The FCK Editor is built with Javascript and HTML. In order to work on this project you must be expert in these technologies and have a good handle on Object oriented design and open-source development processes. I am converting an application containing JSP pages and servlets from Tomcat 3.3 to Tomcat 5.0.19. I have moved my web application to be under the /webapps directory and the initial HTML page is found and comes up correctly.
