Please read carefully... Hi, I need a Wordpress/IT expert to tell me how to solve a problem with permalinks. On Wordpress I want to set permalinks to custom permalinks so the slug has the name of the post or page and I can edit it to whatever I want. After saving changes on the permalinks menu choosing "custom permalinks"->%post name%, I'd try to create a new post but the permalink stays something like "[login to view URL]". So the change to custom permalinks is never applied. My .htaccess file seems to be working fine so that shouldn't be a problem. According to all forums and sites I've visited to solve this problem, everything is correct now and it should work but I just can't get it to work. I just need someone to guide me so I can do whatever is needed. I'll pay only when I'm able to change to custom permalinks successfully. By the way, I'm using the Divi theme. Someone told me this could have something to do.

Hey there, this isn't an Apache2/PHP issue - there's a plugin from a company called Premmerce that allow you to modify the permalinks inside Wordpress however what you're trying to achieve is really easy to configure. I don't mind doing this for free in return for a review. Regards, Reece
