Migrating Wordpress Theme to another theme

Hi, i have website thats been long time (ok, 3 year, exactly) on an old theme, and i assess its time to take the different approach, especially in UI design direction. So i bought myself, from Envato market, already out of the box theme, that actually corresponds with my vision of new facelift and better UI/UX for end users. Bottom line, website structure itself was created by me, i mean within theme layout/widgets/customization etc. I d like to keep structure of web as it is, cause core of my services are simply core and that wont be changing any time soon. Things that need to glow on new theme is example portfolio grid/section, which i ve categorized in services categories (new theme has a bit different categories that do not comply with my services, so when i swtiched to new theme, old categories were overridden by new theme categories, also mash up medley of miscellenious things appeared on new theme (old logos, to be short, things got messy).
