CSS makeover

The project is a makeover for my website http://vertuso.com. The deliverables are strictly limited to css files and the graphics referenced within the css. I will add markup as needed for tagging sections using <div> and <span> and id/class tags, but I dont want any changes to the html since this is all generated dynamically by the back-end. The current site is styled in a fashion that complies with the above requirements, so you can see what I am asking. Turn off styles on your browser to see the plain html. All of the pages are similar and they all use the same set of css files as the home page, hence the deliverable is one set of css files that work on all of the pages. This css should test out with IE7, IE8 and Firefox and it should pass css validation at [login to view URL] with neither warnings nor errors. The current css was borrowed and I want to change it to an original work. There is a lot of unused css in the current file, so I need to start from scratch here. You can cut-paste the customizations I have added for certain things, but if something is not used I don't want it wasting bandwidth. I need to see samples of your css work before rewarding the project. No flash is required or desired.
