video of ball rolling to touch an outstretched hand

Hi, I'm doing a research experiment about touch perception and I need to create an animation (in Blender?) of a ball slowly rolling across a surface to touch a (non moving) outstretched hand (video 1), and a matching video of the hand moving slowly to touch the (non moving) ball (video 2). The speed of the ball in video 1 should be identical to the speed of the hand in video 2 and all motion should stop (in both videos) once contact is made between hand and ball. The video should fade up on the ball/hand in motion and fade out as soon as contact is made. The contact should be between the ball and the middle finger (hand held flat out - so the middle finger, being longest, is the point of contact). Only the hand and forearm should be shown (up to but not including the elbow) and it should be the hand of a young woman with dark skin (middle Eastern) wearing a black shirt to the wrist. The point of contact should be exactly in the middle of the screen and all movement should be purely on the horizontal plane (hand moving from left side of the screen to the middle, ball moving from right side of screen to the middle). So, in video 1 the scene should fade up on the hand already at the middle of the screen and the ball rolling toward it from the right. In video 2 the scene starts with the ball in the middle of the screen and the hand moving toward it from the left. I think this is a very simple project for someone experienced in Blender and I can send a video mockup of exactly what I need. However, since I don't have experience with Blender, I may be wrong about that and am happy to discuss. It needs to be an animation rather than a video because I need the movement speed to be exactly equal across the 2 videos (not roughly equal as I'd get if I used a real video) and for the point of contact to be exactly in the middle of the screen.
