Backup System Deployment

I've been in IT for about 15 years, dealing with individuals and small business networks. I've done a lot of consulting and can come up with a solution compatible with your environment and budget. Before I can properly bid, I'll need information about your current network configuration, backup needs and hardware budget. I have worked with Veritas a few years back, using it to backup to a central server then onto an LTO changer for offsite storage. That's my strategy of choice: Local storage with something going offsite every week. Small offices got away with swapping an external HD, with the caveat of having 1 week old data if the office catches fire. Online backups can be convenient, but impractical for large backup jobs, so I usually don't even consider them. I'm fluent in English, so we can get on Skype or on the phone without language issues.

I am working in IT since 2004. I have deep knowledge in Linux/FreeBSD/Windows systems administration. Last years I spent a lot of time for virtualization (Hyper-V mostly, but VmWare as well). At the same time I have Exchange Server 2013 administration experience. I work in an IT company as Senior System Administrator, but here I introduce myself as a private system administrator because I believe that there cannot be any development without new experience. I'm very keen on new projects and would like to take any opportunity to be a part of something interesting. System backup I use Backup Exec(Veritas) and Veeam. Tell me what data you plan to backup? File server Database or virtual machine?
