I am currently recording some audio streams from an old piece of equipment I have. I need to find a competent person experienced in decoding digital data, familiar with say DSP programming on a PC to decode and extract the digital data. This data is most likely PSK/QPSK modulated and there may be some error correcting layers on top of that. Project is initially just to process a static audio file and output the decoded data , once successful update the application to decode a live audio stream. Stage 1 is to try to find the data in a selection of audio files I have recorded. Prefer to work in Win7.

Have you heard of a piece of software called SpanDSP? Probably not. SpanDSP is a sofware modem, that can act as one end of a phone modem connection, or a fax machine. It contains routines to encode and decode various modulations standards, while dealing with noise. I can make use of the code to produce a program that decodes your audio. I will write cross-platform source that can be compiled to either windows or linux, or (probably) MacOS. Please note, for a decoder to work the source files (signal) must be of sufficient quality so the data can be filtered out from the noise. Also the symbol rate of the signal may need to be specified.
