I have been a salesman in one form or another all my life. When I was living in Australia, I started my own fruit distribution business. I bought fruit directly from the farmers and sold it to anyone who was interested.
When I moved to the United States in 2016, I decided to take over a photo booth business that focuses on events. My wife and I successfully ran the business remotely. We took care of inbound and outbound (cold) calls, managed our employees, and ensured that we had weekly events. During this time, I had to learn how to create leads in a saturated market and how to set ourselves apart from the competition. More critically, I learned to overcome objections and to always be closing on a sale. We currently have multiple photo booths all over Central Texas and have systems in place where they generate passive income.
While working at Liberty Financial Services earlier this year, I took the initiative to make outbound calls to non-returning clients and successfully increased sales numbers in a handful of different offices.
