Samsung Phones like S5/S6 has already Baby monitor features, the simple filter like circuits are used in these tiny Baby monitors not necessarily work better ..... I have personally worked on circuits to detect different alarms but all in vein, in last i came to smartphone and processor based modules like Raspbery Pi. I will suggest to use Smartphone app, will show you battery notification, which can detect baby cry more accurately and also you can interface with vibration bracelet via BT ... and can be used for other purposes as well ....
