Hi, I have fixed such an issue recently and it's usually due to the SMTP Port settings (if it's Gmail's SMTP) or it can sometime occur when you use custom domain email for the same domain where WordPress is hosted :) either ways, i'm ready to start testing it now but keep in mind a few hours time, at least.
