Making market forces work for the environment.

We've developed a way to make the connection between market share and the environment which is essential if the response to the current environmental situation is to ever be adequate. There are a number of original ideas and one patent pending so confidentiality is important. We've interest from venture capitalists and our potential market however, to secure funding, we'll need to run a trial. A successful trial will, most likely, secure funding and necessitate a very sophisticated website. For now we're going for only necessary functionality. I've constructed our site with the aid of Joomla Bamboo (Template) and Breezing Forms (forms and their database, Content builder). The basic website is in place however more functionality needs to be programed in. There are 12 databases for cards where a submitted serial has to be matched to a serial in the database and the registration acknowledged. When a user has all twelve cards completion of the set needs to be acknowledged on the website and a message sent informing the webmaster of the set’s completion and the relevant user’s details. There is one other database for the registration of a toy. Once the submitted serial is matched to the database the user needs to be presented with a different story each day (on the website). The story will be randomly chosen from a bank stored in another database (must have the ability to add extra stories) and the stories should not be repeated unless the bank is exhausted. The randomness will mean two users receiving the same story on the same day would also be random. It’s desirable that the webmaster also have the ability to send a message to all users simultaneously or individually if necessary. Users will be submitting designs, stories and ideas and these need to be displayed on the appropriate page in an accessible fashion. Users need to be logged in to submit material and the register/logon/remember me and contact us functionality needs to be checked and working. (Optional) There’s a rating app built in and users should be able to rate contributions, their ratings collated and shown with the relevant contribution. It should also be possible to flag a contribution and the webmaster notified. To summarize: 12 databases – recognize registration and when all twelve have successful registrations. 1 database – recognize registration and then enable display of images picked at random form a database with ability to send message s to one or all users at once. Display of submitted material on 3 pages (I’m open to ideas of best format) Ensure functionality of Registration/Logon/RememberMe/ContactUs All necessary forms are already created though implementation is only partially complete. Breezing forms offers a lot of the required functionality though some coding will be necessary to get the Databases responding appropriately. I’ve also created mirror databases for the 12 cards in Content Builder and Breezing Forms that may or may not be useful. Delete superfluous if best. A lot of this I could do but my limited experience means I’m taking too long.
