Hi, "I am not a bot" Regarding the custom video player, I can say that the technology preference must be given to Microsoft technologies like VB.net or C# because it won't ask you several irritating software updates. Where as JAVA required updates on regular basis and end user may get irritated with such software. Regarding JW player, I can say that they have desktop based application which is downloadable as an exe. I have some questions: 1. do you want WPF technology ? 2. do you like to make a portal where user may be able to download the exe like JW player ? 3. would you like to provide API support for the future maintenance ?
