I have attached an Excel file in which I want the numbers sorted in a particular order. In the range("A9:J2010") each row of numbers, no number repeats more than eight times.
The objective is if I put the value 4 in range "E4" then the numbers would not be repeated more than 4 times in each row.
The results of the macro should be start in Range("O9")
The first few rows would start like this:
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
1,2,3,4,11,12,13,14,15,16
1,2,3,4,17,18,19,20,21,22
1,2,3,4,23,24,25,26,27,28
I beleive the next row should be.
1,2,5,6,11,12,17,18,23,24
The macro has to be flexible so that I can try 12 columns? or 8 columns as needed.
The way to do this may be to start checking the from the first row and go down the rows until a row matcing the criteria is found. Then when the second row is found that is equal to E4 then the check has to start from the first row down to the current row.
