Needs Delete Entry Function Needs Add Entry Function With optional overwrite existing entries. A scanning function. This scan ability must be able to scan "Good Lists" and "Bad Lists". The Good List and the Bad List will be a folder. Each folder will contain sub folders. Each subfolder will contain a text file. The first line of the text file will say which key we are talking about. For example... HKLM\\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The other lines will contain entries. If it is in the good list folder. It will scan the Run key and any entry not in the Good List will be deleted. If it is the bad list folder. It would scan the same way but delete any entry that matched. These files and folder should be easily editable for several changes. (Maybe should be one folder with a line on the text file that specifies if it is a good list or bad list) All actions taken should be logged. This log file will be a "backup" or roll back file that can be used to restore the registry to the exact way it was before this app made any changes. Also needs ability to scan regular text files for "Bad Lines". This will be done like this... There will be a Files To Be Checked folder that contains a folder for each file that will be checked. The folder will contain a text file. The first line of the text file will hold the path to file to be checked. Each line after that the path will be "Bad text". The app will loop over each line in the file to be scanned and check it against each "Bad Text" entry. If there is a match that line will be removed from the file. This app is under a very tight deadline.
