Web/Mobile Development and Design Lecturer College of Computing and Information System, Umm Al Qura University - Makkah (Saudi Arabia) Job Description Umm Al Qura University, College of Computer and Information Systems, Makkah, Saudi Arabia seeks candidates for a full-time lecturer position in Web/Mobile Development and Design. Qualified candidates should have minimum of masters degree in Computer Science as well as college-level teaching experience. Candidates should be specialists who are able to teach and supervise undergraduate levels of web, mobile, interactive, interaction, and user-centered design courses. Proficiencies with current industry standard software programs, languages and web standards are required. Msc or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 3 years of relevant experience as Web/Mobile Designer/Developer. Strong time management and organizational skills. Proven ability to develop and maintain Web properties (open source CMSes experience a plus). Relevant skills include C++, Java, Objective C, iOS, Android, JavaScript/jQuery, X/HTML, CSS, XML, CGI, PHP, Content Management Solutions (Drupal, Wordpress, Plune, Joomla). Strong graphic design skills and a high degree of skill with Adobe Creative Suite applications. Good knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great sense of design. Video editing and animation designing skills a plus. Must be able to provide an online portfolio of work samples. Work location at UQU Campus in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. [login to view URL]
