Wordpress Ticket Reservation System, with seating map

The system is intended to sell tickets in different forms on for the different locations of an upcoming tent based tour. This will feature, seated tickets for a higher prize and unseated tickets for the remainder. The system will have the same seating map for every show as it’s a tent event. The system must also be dynamic enough to withstand some graphics modification by designers (not changing DOM structures) User Requirements. • Select Show • Select Seats on a map (If premium seats), Booked seats are marked grey • Add different VIP packages (at the end of purchase line) • Register and Purchase with Credit card or request invoice (for higher cost) • Select print tickets, which will be sent home (ticket printing is out of scope for the project and handled by the admins) • Emails a confirmation that can be printed at home and brought as a ticket (will contain name, address, number of tickets and also a confirmation id Administrator Requirements • Create new events (some on the same day) • Book seats on back end • Cancel seats • See statistics on booked shows • Print reports for each show • Daily Email report to admin • All user information stored in a database (NOT credit card number) Nice to have • close sections (After map) • export in specific XML syntax. (format TBD) Technical Details • Hosted in Wordpress, • Developed in MySQL 5, PHP 5.+, Jquery 1.6 • Object Oriented (PHP PDO preferred) • Security: SQL Injection Safe, cross browser scripting safe. • No sessions / cart is required. It’s a straight forward purchase process
