Vtiger Custom Module

Our CRM is based on the open source CRM system vtiger. Using vtiger our CRM system is working efficiently but in order to fulfill customer requirements we want to develop some customized modules that can be properly integrated with our current system. Below we give the details of the modules that we want to develop: 1) Bulletin Board Module 2) Facility (Resource) Reservation Module Bulletin Board Module --------------------- We want this module for making announcements on our CRM. The development language should be PHP so that it can properly integrate with the vtiger open source CRM which is the basis for our system. The requirements of the module are as follows: 1) There should be bulletin boards available for different categories like general announcements, company news etc. 2) Admin should have the rights for making the board public or private. Additionally admin can assign custom rights for different users. Facility (Resource) Reservation Module -------------------------------------- Resources are the assets of an organization and usually number less in comparison with their users. To properly manage the resources we need a facility (resource) reservation module for our CRM based on vtiger open source CRM. The requirements of the module are as follows: 1) The module should reserve resources (equipment, conference room etc) 2) If a resource has been reserved then it could not be reserved again. 3) The module should properly integrate and work with the calendar. What is the Last Date? ---------------------- TODO 10 October, 2012 is the last date for submission of the modules. Our CRM is an extension of vtiger open source CRM so that the new modules should work properly with already available modules. If tell us if you need some more requirements.
