Real time MP3 recording component modification

I would like to have modified LameX MP3 encoding ActiveX component ,so it can process input from soundcard (microphone,line in and optionally other soundcard inputs) and encode it to MP3 in real time with all (possible) existing encoding options .Component should be able to append sound data at the end of previous recording. It should have ability to parse MP3 file for periods of silence and methods to : 1) split MP3 recording to (MP3) parts at points of silence (constant bitrate only). 2) remove silence parts from recording (constant bitrate only). Component should be able to list sound cards presented on system and methods to set input device . For all features simple VB implementation example is needed . Thank you . ## Deliverables 1) Working components with source code which can be compiled in MSVC 6.0 . 2) Component implementation example written in VB . 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
