Build 3 Refractometer Sensor Assemblies for our prototype. The sensor will be integrated with a PCB, which will have other sensors. The purpose of the sensor assembly is to converts the refractive index of a food sample to % brix. OUR SPECS are as follows: The sensor assembly - must not exceed 20mm x 25 mm x 15mm in size - CMOS or CCD sensor - Triangular prism - LED wavelength of about 600nm OTHER SPECS - 0 - 20 degree brix minimum - Precision ±0.1%; - Resolution 0.05% - Output Method: Digital - Sensor assembly must be calibrated and fully tested for correct reading. Important: We only need the sensor assembly and a micro-controller. So the deliverables are: - Sensor assembly, - source files, - Gerber files, - firmware, - Circuit and - CAD files - Fully tested PCB
