This project will be used by a team of Realtors for private use. We are a team of 3 professionals looking to be able to organize data regarding properties that we input and also connect to other data sources. The application must be able to display properties by pinpoint on a map, then be able to click the properties to show more information on the properties. Each user will have different permissions regarding the properties and information they can input as well as the properties and information they can view. Specified OS: Needs to function on iPads and Macbooks. Can be webpage or application. We do not want it to be available in the app store. You can tell us what would be easiest for this. Top app requirements: 1. Must have the ability to login 3-10 users all with different permissions 2. Must have the ability to pull data from the Multiple Listing Service and public tax rolls 3. Must have the ability for users to input data regarding properties 4. Must have the ability for all users to share data or not share the data Universal platform support: Yes Development of graphic design and UI elements: I need them built as part of this project. Additional comments: We can help the developer get access to the public tax rolls and Multiple Listing Service data that we will need. It would be good to have ongoing support for the application/website as we will likely be adding functions and making changes for efficiency.

I have a lot of experience creating applications that tie into outside web services, and using maps that allow the user to click on locations and see further details. I would think that the best approach would be to use a custom app, loaded into the user's device, that connect to an online database. The application would allow the user to upload pictures and other information about the property, organize it by location, and allow relevant information to be searched both from the internal database, as well as outside services, such as the tax rolls. Using a custom app, as opposed to a strictly web interface, would allow for device level authentication, so that only that user, on that device, can access their information. Of course, you would also want an administrative program set up, to assign and replace devices, add users, and change individual user's permissions. Let me know if you would like to discuss further. Hello, I think that your app is fairly simple to do as I worked in the past on a long term similar project (+1 year) with real estate agents (references available upon request). I imagine a Google Map page with pins for each property like you said, along with a textbox for searching the properties. Also, the UI will support adding properties manually or from MLS (to be discussed how I can get access to the MLS - if they have an API). The webpage solution is best and I can provide some mockups after we start the project. You will also need a backend part (server) for storing the properties and synchronizing the users. After the project is finished, I can provide you with support for the application and the backend for a relatively low cost each month. Before we continue, please explain point 1) - the permissions part and point 2) related to pulling the data from the Multiple Listing Service and public tax rolls.
