Hi I can help you with this, I administer a sonicwall where I work, your problem tells me that you are missing a configuration on your sonicwall, not the juniper. Seasoned network administrator with extensive Firewall experience. Currently managing more than 100 firewalls (checkpoint) for a large organization. Extending to regional/global role to manage additional 70 odd firewalls globally. Mainly these firewalls are running on Juniper and Palo Alto. This sounds like a very straight forward task. Has there already been some troubleshooting of the problem? check routes on the two devices, checking icmp filtering rules, checking any spoofing rules etc? I can resolve this quickly for you.
