Help regarding connecting my Access database to a remote MySQL Server

I tried reading tutorials regarding this but to no avail I still can't connect to my remote database remotely. I'm using ecowebhosting and already added a host whitelisting my current IP address. It's just that the ODBC connector is still firing error 10060. I think this will be easy for an experienced freelancer.
