Problems with Opencart Communicating with Database

When working in the product section - Opencart is very slow communicating with my database server and sometimes stops communicating. I checked with my Host (GoDaddy) and they said everything checks out fine. I've backed up my Database and my open cart files just in case. I'm only using a small percentage of my database server. Opencart Ver 1.5.4.1 Customers placing orders works fine. Everything seems to be okay except when I want to copy a product or enter an item in the search/Filter, Opencart sometimes says "processing" and does not recover. So I have to either reload Admin or Start the Product search all over. (see jpeg attached). I'm not sure what we need to do? I have hundreds of customers ordering from the store each day and I can not afford to be down. Any ideas? Tell me what you suggest.

Nothing wrong with your database...you just added way too many products for the standard opencart installation to handle, and that product manager you are using has bugs. I will optimize your database to speed it up a bit but if you want real performance you will need to buy a plugin I will tell you and be on a vps or dedicated host. Your search and product insert will fly after this! There is no excuse not to be on a vps as they start at $5/month
