Take Moodle live on the web Hosting Platform: Self-hosted - Looking for assistance with taking Moodle live on the web. - Need guidance on whether to include any custom features or plugins. - Would like to get Moodle live as soon as possible. Currently I have moodle setup as a WAMP stack on a windows 2022 Standard server. I can use the static IP address of the server which I modified on the [login to view URL] file. I'm also able to get all the computers on the network connected to the moodle site via the internal LAN. I need to be able to also access the same moodle site externally from the internet, I have a static IP address. I'm a Network Adminstrator so I can create whatever records are needed on the DNS server and do port forwarding on the router if needed. I have never done is type of project before and I'm some what confused as to what records need to be create and the types that need to be created, currently I created and A recorded pointing to my static IP address and a CName recrode to [login to view URL] whic is a domain I just got on GoDaddy. Ideal Skills and Experience: Needs to be able to connect to me via TeamViewer, I need to be to see what you are doing so that I can learn and be able to troubleshot any issues later on. If you are in the US and on E.S.T that would be great, as I am a Firefigther and while on duty I can't work on project do to rescue call volume. - Experience with Moodle and setting up Moodle for externail (internet) access. - Knowledge of customizing Moodle with plugins and features. - Ability to provide guidance on selecting the right features and plugins for the project. - Efficient time management skills to meet the client's requirement of getting Moodle live as soon as possible.

Since you are hosting internally with a static IP, all you have to do is add DNS in the public zone. Also, ensure that DMZ/NAT is set up correctly so that port 443 and ideally port 80 is open in your firewall.
