Developer for MS Outlook Add-In

Plz be informed this is a paid test task! We require from you to implement an outlook add-in to work well with Outlook 2021 and later. We want to see experience and expertise in the section of Outlook Add-In development for multi-platform (windows, mac, browser). Also we want to see clean and open-book estimates per milestones. Afterwards, after successful assignment + delivery we will share you regularly new features to implement. the add-in provides in outlook: - iterate over selected (marked) contacts - provide option to export the contacts via right click context menu or ribbon menu - the exports via are done via REST api from outlook to api what is required? - you develop in typescript the add-in - your code can fetch all contact fields and maps it into a contacts DTO class - the DTO class can be sent via REST api client to a REST api UI elements: - button in the ribbon section - context menu for right clicking on mouse - both provide a settings dialog to define the REST api endpoint runtime? - windows 10, 11 - windows server 2019 - macos - browser outlook (owa) delivery? - into our git repository - clearly structured code in addin parts, ui parts, DTO and rest api client classes - you show us the working code in your environment - you install and test it in our clean environment - we test it also on our clean environment - deps are defined in nuget - built with nuget and msbuilt finally - after provided tests on your machine + demoing + our tests on our machines, we release payments MS1: 1. scaffold AddIn with yeoman and make hello world running on your outlook [login to view URL] 2. implement UI components create a add-in with settings page and all required buttons and menus like: [login to view URL] 3. add behavior on selecting contacts in outlook and using context menu on them or one of the buttons, it triggers a simple modal dialog (popup) showing the names of the contacts in the popup. The contacts are already converted into the DTO and popup uses binding from them 4. add dummy rest api a dummy REST api PUT call is done to [login to view URL] (see docs [login to view URL]) with DTO as json body MS2: 1. real api - replace the rest api client using a real api, which will be provided to you 2. syncing logic - client checks if the contact is available already on api server side - depending on availabbility either the create or update will be implemented in later milestones we want to have also the sync of API to outlook, so that outlook contacts get updated or created from api.
