Hello there, I am currently working as a Senior System Administrator at one of the biggest web hosting companies from Romania ([login to view URL]). The company is listed as top 5 web hosting companies in my country. I have over 10 years experience working on linux servers and I take care of over 250 servers (both physical server and virtual servers). We are using CentOS linux mostly but also Debian, Slackware, Redhat, Suse for our clients virtual servers. I am familiar with all the virtualization technologies (vmware, xen, proxmox, kvm, openvz etc). We are using cPanel/WHM, webmin + virtualmin and centos webpanel (CWP) as a web hosting control panel. Most of our clients have website built in wordpress/joomla/prestashop or other php/mysql custom made scripts so I am familiar with debugging of these types of platforms, fixing security issues and anything else related. Dear Sir/Madam, I just finished the security audit of a video provider that runs several cloud servers across the world. All running on CentOS and Debian. I am able to check you server based on a common checklist I use. I check whether all default security measurements have been taken and software like for example fail2ban is running as it should be. If default security measurements are not take I will make sure they will be executed. Also I will check users and passwords to determine if they a strong enough. If you are running a webserver/mailserver I will also execute a penetration test to say whether the software is for example injection proof. If not I will give an recommendation what should be done. Hallo, Ich bin ein in Österreich ansässiger System Administrator/Engineer. Ich habe mehr als 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Linux System Administration und Security. Bisher habe ich mit RHEL/CentOS sowie Debian gearbeitet. Ich kenne mich sehr gut mit Apache2, MySQL, puppet, iptables und den gängigen Tools aus. Ausserdem habe ich auch Programmiererfahrung mit PHP.
