Openlayers developer to display layer that is not showing

We have an html file and js file that uses openlayers - however the wfs layer is not displaying on map and there are some bugs in the js controls to add points, lines and polygon to map. Developer needs to know openlayers and fix the js file so layer shows on top of base map. Please forward example of openlayers work and map ui or controls you have done.
