-carry out security attack (could be any attack like man in the middle) on ssl and TLS(OpenSSL) communication. produce findings. then implement some more protection and carry out the same attack and reveal the findings showing that the protection prevented the attack. Hi there I have a running configuration of a transport layer attack. I can take control of a host from an outside connection. My simulation is done in GNS3 using 2 devices, a windows server or xp machine with IIS install on it with a webpage, and a Kali Linux machine which is the attacker. for the mitigation of this I use a Cisco ASA. hi, here is what comes to my mind; -there is a heartbleed vulnerable webmail server -users log in to mail server -attacker exploits heartbleed and captures webmail login credentials of users -then we update mail server and retry and fail to exploit. if this is good for you, i am ready to deliver in promised days. if need be i can even arrange a demo. (btw i am an ms grad in information security, and i already wrote many reports like this one)
