Hello. The feel you want is exactly why Qt/QML is used. Most modern PLC-like dashboards are built using QML. So, I suggest using Qt/QML in this project in Python (or C++ in case you prefer it more). I understand that you are looking for a program that can run on a Raspberry Pi with a touch screen to create a GUI similar to a PLC. Hello, It is better if you consider in using python, wuth its gui designer ktinker as well. Either one the backend and the front end would be an easy thing.
