Athletic Club Redesign

Athletic Club Redesign ---------------------- Existing site ([login to view URL]) that needs two (2) new master design templates designed and delivered as two layered PSD documents. About the athletic club... It's not a typical gym... it's a community respite. This 19,000 square foot club looks more like a cozy mountain lodge than a health club. The front desk is set off to the side of the lobby in order to be more welcoming and less in-your-face. Classical music is playing and the lobby doubles as an art gallery. They don't issue membership cards. Instead, they work hard to learn everyone's name. A design should clearly reflect these characteristics of this club. Design Direction ---------------- The design should incorporate the new corporate logo (see attached) and should be freshened up. Initial home page template should be a combination large photo and top level navigation. See [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] for an example of the initial impact desired. The second design template should be a matching secondary design template that shrinks to a standard sized header no more than 200 pixels high. Specific Requests ----------------- 1. Client has requested "more black" in the design. 2. "Newsletter" should be renamed to "eNews". Technical Requirements ---------------------- * Primary navigational schema should support 2 levels deep. Site is driven by a CMS. * Navigation should be text-based and expansion/contraction friendly (Menu titles might vary 5-20 characters) * All Existing features should all be incorporated into new design. * Delivery is to be taken as two PSD layered documents. Available assets ---------------- Any images currently on the site are available for integration into the site design. Two new logos are attached.
