291491 cartoon logo required

I am already in the process of negotiating my website design. What i need is a cartoon character for my logo.I have attached an existing cartoon character and a photo of a bush/stone curlew (which is the bird for my logo) I like this as it has big bug eyes which need to be conveyed in the cartoon.(don't want exact copy of cartoon attached as it may be breach of copyright.) I want the words "COOCHIE ISLAND RESORT" Behind with a head view of the bird in the front. I willtry and knock up and scan a quick drawing to explain. The birds head needs to look good and I will be looking later to have a gif animation made with the eyes blinking to embed in my webpage when [login to view URL] logo will be at the centre of as lot of T-shirt designs etc. so it needs to look good. (As this is a young peoples place, if the bird could be fitted with a bandana that may also look good.) Look forward to a prompt result - Docyard
