The Project . I need summaries of 12 business books written. The books vary in length from 200 - 300 pages and I estimate that the summaries would come-in at approximately 15-20% of the source length. The intention is that the summaries should be largely in point form and aimed at 20 - 30 year olds working in a corporate environment. Some simple graphics will need to be produced. Full project details will be provided at the next stage, Time frame 3 months. I estimate that each book would take 3 days to read and 6-10 days to summarise. If you cannot undertake all 12 subjects I'm happy to split it between writers. The project style The summaries are aimed at 20 - 30 year olds in a business environment, so the summaries have to take a complex subject and effectively reduce it to point form. The summaries will be used as instructional material. The Tone of Voice The tone of voice is businesslike without being dry. The intention is to sound like a mentor providing guidance and simple instructions. Skills You should be able to produce fluent, informal English texts and have a strong understanding of contemporary corporate life. If you can offer proof reading services it would be an advantage.
