Research Project Part 1: Overview and the Clinical Trial Population related to the mental disorder per DSM-5 diagnosis of BIPOLAR DEPRESSION and BIPOLAR DISORDER Compare CALIFORNIA, USA demographics based on age, gender, race, ethnicity and medical prevalence per the CDC data and REFERENCES along with the general USA (nationwide data) demographics based on age, gender, race, ethnicity and medical prevalence per the CDC data Helpful resources include CA Community Burden of Disease and Cost Engine ([login to view URL]), CDC WONDER ([login to view URL] Include demographics across pharmaceutical companies who have conducted clinical research trials within the past 2 years and please provide at least 5 references. Assess how demographics compares to other published trials (document reference) Write Overview (4,000 characters including spaces) Discuss what is currently known about demographic disparities in disease burden, care, and health outcomes in the population and what WE should do or PROPOSE that would benefit this patient population. Please explain in detail and reference why. PART TWO: Write Trial Population Rationale (5,500 characters including spaces) Describe how you arrived at the trial population goals you provided in the table above. Propose a rationale for the prevalence in the disease based on geography, race, gender, age but provide supporting statements and reference of how you can achieve result (should describe practical limitations here as well). Part 3: Please explain in detail based on publications how you propose to help with this research based on: 1) Outreach 2) Engagement 3) Enrollment, and 4) Retention Plans (Output: MUST BE APPROX. 4 pages) with REFERENCES AND DETAIL TO SUPPORT YOUR PROPOSAL - CONSIDER THIS A CLINICAL RESEARCH PROJECT AND WITH INTERVENTIONAL TREATMENT (name it PRODUCT X) Describe how your choice of this PRODUCT X will support this disease (BIPOLAR DEPRESSION) and how many clinical trial sites will be needed based on REFERENCE from prior trials conducted in the past 36 months by other sponsors. REFERENCE THESE SPONSORS AND WHERE YOU FOUND THAT DATA AND POPULATION GOAL. This is REAL WORLD EVIDENCE AND PREVALENCE BASED ON EPIDEMIOLOGY DATA. PART 4: Write Community Engagement & Outreach Section (4,000 characters including spaces) Detail community engagement and outreach activities you propose for reaching potential trial participants from medically underserved groups, including groups historically underrepresented in clinical trials. Take into consideration your trial population goals and the communities near the proposed trial sites. Write Resolving Barriers to Trial participation (4,000 characters including spaces) Detail the project activities you propose to resolve barriers to trial participation faced by medically underserved groups, including groups historically underrepresented in clinical trials. FINAL PART - 5 Building Cultural Sensitivity (Output: approx. 1 page) Write Building Cultural Sensitivity Section (5,500 characters including spaces) Describe any proposed activities as well as past/completed efforts that support the development of cultural sensitivity on the proposed team and/or at partner institutions. Objective: - The main objective of this research project is to gather data and statistics. Areas to be researched: - The focus of this project will be on EPIDEMEOLOGY, REAL WORLD DATA, COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS, AND PROPOSAL WITH REFERENCES. Timeframe: - The project is expected to take 2 weeks to complete. Ideal Skills and Experience: - Strong research skills and experience in gathering data and statistics. - Experience with Epidemeology and Research Medical Writing - Proficiency in conducting competitor analysis. - Knowledge of industry trends and social media analysis. - Ability to effectively analyze and interpret research findings. - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
