Qualifications: --Have previous experience of ERP, CRM and BI solutions --Good knowledge of the ERP industry --Ability to conduct some independent research --Good English writing skills are a plus but not necessary. Most important is that you have previous experience of working with ERP and can lay out some good arguments for me getting this extra training. Job Context: I am working as an application consultant for an ERP provider. The company provides many different solution products such as finance, distribution, HR, CRM and so on. My area of expertise is Financial systems. However, I am at a point in my career where I would like to broaden my knowledge so that I can work with what I believe to be the future of the ERP industry, namely: CRM, Business Intelligence and e-Commerce integrated solutions. I believe these areas together will play a major role in changing the future ERP paradigm in the way they integrate with each other and provider knowledge about the business. Job Description: To write an application letter (3 pages long, 1500 to 2250 words), including a 1 year personal development plan, to my boss demonstrating the value of having a consultant who understands both the Finance, CRM, BI and also has knowledge about e-Commerce solution integration and how these skills would be especially relevant for customers in the retail segment The Challenge: ---To sell the idea / demonstrate the value of having a consultant who can both Finance and CRM part of an ERP solution and also understand how to integrate an ERP solutions with external e-Commerce solutions, and how this is especially relevant for customers in retail segment Projects Deliverables: ---Stress the arguments for how knowledge in finance and CRM can support customers in the retail segment ---Stress the arguments for how knowledge in Web / e-Commerce creates synergies with financial and CRM and how this is beneficial if one works as a consultant in the retail segment ---Writing a personal development plan for the coming 1 year, with a final goal and the proven value for my company ---Support the above with research and evidence from expert sources Please describe shortly about yourself, provide some sample work and tell me why you think you know the ERP industry well enough to be able to write this application (Please note, I am not looking for a copy and paste, I need you to provide solid and original arguments based on your insights about the ERP industry Kind regards, Jacqueline
