I want to add a Blog to an existing Drupal website

I have more than 6 years of Drupal experience working on various websites and clients. I've built many of these websites from scratch with only minimal front-end developer support. Integrating a blog into an existing website is a straightforward task unless advanced rendering is required. Basic setup and no advanced requirements are assumed here. I'll use the core Drupal blog module to allow the creation of blog entries (pages). A list of blog entries can be displayed in a block on the homepage or any page (using Views module to generate the list itself), depending on your desire. If the desired text format of the blog body (the main text of the blog entry) is rich text and depending on the current setup of the website I might need to download and install the CKEditor module to enable WYSIWYG body. Blogs usually do not require much styling but I'm open to discussion on a more complex styling.
