I'm very very fast at transcriptions. I used to do transcriptions for a company that published magazines based on interviews. Please give me a chance. I'm a freelance writer, based in Sri Lanka, the paradisaical island off the Indian coast. My professional career as a writer spans back 04 years when I first started contributing features to a local newspaper and since then I've gone on to add many other faculties to my writing, including stints in advertising, magazine editorial and also my forte - journalism. Over the span of years, learning the ropes, a few aspects of my work remain the ones I'm most passionate about and if I must specify my whims and fancies; the service industry is my pet suit, so to speak, naturally also being the area I have gained most experience in. In addition to being a creative writer, I'm also well versed with the marketing and strategy aspect of communications and as such am moving into consultant capacities for organizations in industries I'm best exposed to. My love for writing, creating and above all else innovating, however dictates that I explore a more diverse spectrum of assignments than just writing, photography or strategic communications and my portfolio will testify to that account. Hello, Thank you for considering my for your project. I understand that I am a 'newbie' but that doesn't mean I'm not capable of quality work. I am willing to accept a lower payment than others to start building a reputation around here. At the moment I'm typing about 50 wpm but I anticipate an increase in ability as more opportunities come - I am also practicing in my spare time.
