I need a writer to collaborate with on a feature film project.

Hello I am a TV and film professional with over 25 years experience in the TV and film industry. BUT i most certainly am not a writer, that has become apparent after many failed attempts to do this myself. I need a good, lighthearted, writer with whom I can work closely with to develop, a film treatment, and following on from that, a full shooting script. The strong idea is here, I just need to find the right person to help bring it alive. That person should be familiar with film treatments and script writing. I will be open and transparent about this from the outset.... I have no money as yet... But a strong interest has been shown in the idea from relevant production companies and the film commissions in one of the two territories featured in the script. I believe the film commission in the second territory will be quick to show an interest once we have a viable project to offer. The intention is to team up with a production company in the interested territory and develop the treatment with the view to obtaining development funds, not just in that region but also in the second territory. As with anything like this, (film development) I cannot promise to you that we will be successful in our endeavor, it may all fall flat, miss the trends of the times or simply just not get picked up for one of the many many reasons films don't get picked up. But if it does get picked up and funded, and obviously I believe it has a strong chance to do so, all writers fees will be met to industry standards. It would be preferable to have a writer familiar with the ways and traits of the Welsh community and/or the New Zealand community, most notably the Maories. That's it for now.
