.net varible data printing solution

I am looking to build a variable data processing system, that can take input from several data sources and merge them onto a template to be printed, emailed, send via SMS, archived, pdf’ed, altered (calculations of formatting changes) or any combination of these actions. There will be several data sources, some with be excel files or from ODBC input. Some data files will have rubbish characters that will need stripping away and sequenced before they are processed. The main input source will be from 2 files output from an in-house application. The 2 input files will be: 1 will be totally data, the 2nd file will have the name of the template to merge on to, number of copies to print, the name of the printer to print to. These 2 files are produced at the same time but stored in different folders. The system will have to pickup these files and output them to something, if printer is selected will have to pick the printer name and send the output to the printer. The template editor will have to be flexible, it must be as good as MS Word where you can place text, pictures, charts anywhere on the page. (WYSIWYG) Rich text editor will not be able to do this. Think of the solution as a variable data processing system. It takes something as input and can do any combination of programmed things to it. Print, fax, email, archive, SMS, push to a webpage (folder). Detailed brief will be given to the successful bidder. The solution must run all the time on a server and should run as a service. It will be processing files on the fly, typically 40 files every minute or so. There are occasions when the system will have to process up to 20,000 print jobs in a single go. I am looking for a robust solution with detailed logging and error reports. There should be a re-print facility. The solution should be totally automated once setup. There will be about 200 letter templates that need to be setup. I am looking for long term support and product development. Thank you for looking.
