Windows APP, MYSQL and ODBC

The purpose of this application is to connect to our current PMS (Product Management System) MYSQL Database on the server and place orders, process orders and syncronise data with a MYOB (accounting package) database thought ODBC. It doesn’t matter what language this is written in. We prefer JAVA but we also want the look an feel to be exactly like windows XP. Speed is also a priority. I would coder to choose a language that can also talk to the MYOB database. I have included sample code that already connects what the MYOB ODBC. Note the MYOB ODBC isn’t like a typical database. I have attached MYOB PDF’s to explain the insertion and update techniques that need to be used. In a nutshell MYOB has many tables. Ie ITEMS table to insert data into ITEM you need to insert into IMPORT_ITEMS table. This will automatically import required data into more then just the ITEMS table. In essence this is a easier as you don’t need to know all the table you need to store data into. Below you will find an outline of all the screen and the functions behind them. I would like the ‘Synchronise Database’ Screen to be completed first. This will get you familiar with the MYOB database. Once this is finish I would like this delivered and payment of 20% will be made of total price as I think this section take up 20% of the total work load.
