Veda Astra Global Merchandising Team drives the creation of product categories , gives global direction, informed by local product strategies. We provide direction to the global merchandising team and is a key strategic partner to the Global Product Organization and Regional Merchandising teams located around the world. We lead the development of our global product architecture including strategic product vision, seasonal strategies and concepts, and incorporating locally relevant merchandising strategies. Our team will act as the cross functional leader for all product categories. We Partner effectively with Design, Commercialization, Sourcing, Raw Materials, Brand, Regional Merchandising, Production and Planning teams to ensure a product experience, which meets our guests’ needs across geographies. Veda Astra is responsible for ensuring the company has the ability to meet its overall objective of “Right Product, Right Stores, Right Time.” Veda Astra Drive successful creation of a global line plan, through long term , strategic vision, effective teamwork and cross-functional leadership Collaborates closely with regional merchant leadership to ensure that regional needs are incorporated into the global line plan Accountable for creating a partnership that encourages two-way communication and a collaborative dialogue with Regional Merchandising, Product Creation/Commercialization and Sourcing teams, including the reconciliation of merchandising strategies against capacity
