I am seeking a freelancer to assist me with a senior design project in the field of petroleum engineering. This project requires the freelancer to submit a detailed project proposal for consideration. I am looking for a freelancer that can complete this project on an immediate timeline, with an expected completion of less than one week. Experience in this area is preferred but not required. Productive Target: 9,200’ TVD Wolfcamp B Production Casing Required: 5-1/2” 20# Normally intermediate casing is set into Dean formation with 2-stage cement jobs in normal areas on Wolfcamp B targets. This area has seen abnormalities in the vertical hole. The San Andres is the injection interval with 10.5-11# mud weight needed to stop the flow which has dangerous levels of H2S. Normally we would drill thu the injection interval then displace the hole and be at a happy medium where we have slight flow (9.0-9.3 3) , dealing with H2S but low enough to not loose too much in the lower zones.-We would drill with spraberry slop to intermediate hole TD and run casing. This area, along with the increased weight needed to hold back the flow has high losses with as low as 8.5-8.6# MW in the Upper Spraberry. Find a solution to drilling this interval with as little increased cost as possible while still allowing for the installation of 5-1/2” casing for the production string. Geometric change is allowed. i have data available upon request
