Hello, I am ready to do the job. I have a recent project with comparable level of roof problems which I can share on your request. The main structural decision to be done in your case is the possibility to insert the hidden columns in the middle of the flight – it is possible everywhere (still not clear in the place of the sink of main kitchen). These hidden columns have to pass through the attic to support the roof skate. If no, there must be trusses instead of rafters – much more expensive solution. These hidden columns must surely have the basements – if the building is situated in Yukon region where the snow charge is very important. According to the snow charge these hidden columns should have the dimensions as approx. 9’’ x 9’’ if done in wood. If selected, I can start the work next Tuesday, the 25 of March and complete it the 27 of March. Still the task has to be specified. If the structural decision is done and all you need is CAD drawing of rafters only I surely will modify the fee requested. Thank you. Igor Kozhin, architect .
