URL Masking

Hello, I have a presentation coming up and would need the following solution: I have a website which needs to be presented to a group of people. However, the client wants me to type the URL in the address bar but it will fetch a page from the localhost. The website is developed in PHP. Due to non-availability of internet connection, we would need to do the same. Since the website will be presented to a group of people and through a projector, we would need to type the actual URL in the address bar but it would need to run from a folder under localhost. I need a solution for the same. I believe it can be done through Mod_rewrite [not sure]. Thanks, Simon
