I am doing an hypothetical accounting entries for a company like Uber. Can someone help put together a basic accounting entries (journal and ledger) for such a case from Uber's perspective. (not the driver or rider). --------------------- Example-------------- The transaction starts with the the cost of travel in a Uber taxi from A to B that has a fare of $100 bucks. 80% of that gets passed to the driver 20% of that get passed to Uber. Uber gives a discount of 5% to the rider and also Uber gives a bonus of 8% to the driver for completing 3 consecutive trip that day. ----------- Can you simulate the accounting entries for the above situation on paper. Thanks
