Hello, Have you considered one of these devices? [login to view URL] Or, will you be using individually-rechargeable 18650-style cells? Problem you have is your total voltage is too high. You could isolate each DS and isolate the 1-wire bus comms, but you are starting to get very complicated. The extra analog circuitry required to condition the voltages to an acceptable precision will likely take more space and costs than you really want to absorb. Hi there, If I understand you correctly, you want t monitor few batteries with 1 DS2438. I not deeply familiar with this particularity monitor, but as well as I understand it it can be complicated since the monitor save data as current accumulation for the battery etc. if you just want to have single capture of each battery, it can be done using kind of switching system, that should be controlled by your uControler, and to be synchronized with it. I can help you, but you need to definr more specific, what data do you want to get on the battery? Voltage? Current? accumulated current? if you want the voltage to be measured, you can use basic AD converter, tha challenge here is - you want to have 1 wire from each battery, and they all connected in series, so basically from each wire you will get the voltage of whole betteries under the one you measuring. you can simply make the calculation if you start with the one that close ground.... I can fix my price after I will understand exacly what you need...
