Hi i am a design engineer developing most of my products using Arduinos. i have developed many systems using those boards. I think for your project it will be easy to use I2C enabled displays. and the touch used inn google glass is capacitive. there are many sources to buy those pannels as well

dear sir, i am interested in the project. i am workinng on the 2.8" touch tft which can be mounted on arduino uno. Dear sir there are many versions on arduino. All have different interface capabilities (peripherals like I2C and SPI). The display you have given in the description can be interfaced using I2C interface. For uno pins 16 and 17 can be used for interfacing.
