Mobile phone based barcode reader

We are developing a solution which will require, barcode reader. Can you please let me if you are interested in doing this project. The high level requirement is as follows: We wish to use mobile phone platform for barcode reading and then sending the barcode data over internet. The phone should boot and start only our application and should not be able to receive calls only from pre-approved numbers. The barcode type to be read is 1D.
